Founder’s Day Brunch 2025

On Sunday October 12th, several sisters of the Alpha Chi Omega Alpha Delta Alpha chapter gathered to celebrate Founder’s Day with a brunch at the home of our sister, Ashlee Townsend Cribb. Despite the dreary weather, the warmth of sisterhood and shared laughter filled the air, making it a memorable day of connection, reflection, and celebration.

The brunch spread was nothing short of delightful, featuring an array of delicious dishes that brought us together around the table. We savored creamy chicken salad, a delicious egg frittata, refreshing yogurt parfaits, and a crowd-favorite pasta salad lovingly prepared by our sister Susan Joseph Nielsen. Each bite was a reminder of the joy found in sharing a meal with those who share our bond.

After brunch, Susan, the Honorary Commander for the 22nd Air Task Force, shared with us about how we can support this unique wing at Fairchild Air Force base. Her passion for service sparked an exciting discussion about ways our chapter can make a difference. One idea that gained traction was using our upcoming December holiday party as an opportunity to collect donations for the 22nd Air Task Force. Susan promised to provide more details as the event approaches, and we’re eager to rally together for this meaningful cause.

The celebration continued with a lively round of Founder’s Day trivia, testing our knowledge of Alpha Chi Omega’s cherished traditions, symbols, and the remarkable women who founded our sisterhood. The questions sparked laughter and a renewed appreciation for the history and values that unite us.

Kristin Vaughn shared with us the opportunity to participate in the Founder’s Day challenge as we honor the past, present and future of Alpha Chi Omega and the support goal of raising $250,000 for the Real. Strong. Women. Fund.

Though the rain poured outside, the dreary weather couldn’t dampen our spirits. The day was a beautiful reminder of the strength of our sisterhood and the joy of coming together to honor our founders. As we look ahead to our December holiday party and the opportunity to support the 22nd Air Task Force, we’re filled with excitement for what’s to come.

Here’s to Alpha Chi Omega, to our Alpha Delta Alpha chapter, and to the bonds that make days like this so special!

Together, let us seek the heights!
