AXO Spokane mourns the loss of our beloved sister, Helen Eldenburg, who passed away this summer.

Helen pledged Omega Chapter (WSU) in 1942, and was a life-long loyal sister in Alpha Delta Alpha Alumnae Chapter.

She served as Chapter President for two terms, and was an inspirational and involved member, as well as a loyal and steadfast friend to all. Helen had a distinguished career, and her interests and activities were varied and meaningful. She played the accordion well into her 90’s!

In 2017 our chapter was honored to be able to present Helen with her 75 year pin.

She personified all the best qualities embodied in our Symphony, and her memory will live on in all who loved her.

In her memory ADA has made a gift of $100.00 to the Burnette Grimes Jones Scholarship Fund for Omega and we honored her with a short but moving ritual during our Oct 10 Founder's Day Zoom meeting.
